Are these baby boy names ugly?

Twins, so I was thinking of:





Kieran [pronounced Keeran] Zeke


and


Andreas Zane





[zane and zeke are middle names of course]








Are they ugly or bad? Or are they okay?\

NO!! These people are great for most answers but not when it comes to baby names!!





I love Kieran Zeke and I love Zane for a middle name. My only issue is with Andreas - I just don't know how to pronounce that one!! Couldn't you just name baby B Andre Zane??

Edit** And I don't know why people think Kellan is a boys name - it isnt! Its for a girl! Don't go with that one as someone else suggested!
Reply:First of all, you are the one who is going to have to say it for the rest of your life, not me. Second, your son will have to be called it for the rest of his, or until he changes it. I would not like to be called any of the names above. Is there motive or reasoning behind the names? Even if they mean something to you, your son will probably not share your views on it. Everyone goes through a time when they hate their name. I was born as "Munch" as you can see, my name is now Mike. A name is personal and for at least the first 18 years, permanent.

Zeke Kian and Zane Andre or Zeke Andre and Zane Kian. I think the second set sounds better. They have a better "flow".





The reason I suggest it is that niece's middle names are Evelyn Elizabeth after her maternal and paternal grandmothers.
Reply:I actually like Kieran a lot, although I don't like Zeke. Kieran Zane is nice though. Sounds like a very strong name. I don't really like Andreas. I like Andre though. If you wanted to keep the Z middle name trend, you could do Kieran Zane and Andre Zander. Sorry that's the best I could do, I just think anything but Zeke would be good for a middle name. Zeke reminds me of a hick.
Reply:Oh Oh dont worry about all these people bagging Kieran.....maybe its just where they are from, but in a Australia its common, we even have a famous swimmer named Kieran Perkins.....If anything I would say andreas is the odder of the two but its honestly quite nice, I mean at least its a name and you don't want to call the poor child monsoon or something. Call them what you want, I swear you'll feel better for having done so.
Reply:No, they're not ugly. I love the name Andreas and I really like Kieran. Zane is cool. Zeke feels a bit nicknamey (I prefer Ezekiel), but it's not bad by any means. Kieran Ezekiel sounds really good, though if you want their middle initials to match, the Kieran Zeke is fine.





EDIT: I think the first names you've chosen are lovely. If you're having second thoughts about them, though, there's no reason you shouldn't honor your fathers with your sons' middle names. Andreas makes an awesome middle name, and Kian would, too.

Reply:Personally I'm not to fond of Kieran because it's hard for me to say; it doesn't flow off the tongue, but it's a nice name. I'm partial to Zane because that's my son's first name.
